General Terms and Conditions of Sale


1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTC”) apply to all services provided by Banzaï – Nadia Steiger (hereinafter “the Service Provider”), including:

  • catering services,
  • preparation and delivery of take-away meals / meal boxes,
  • organization of cooking workshops and hosted dinners.

Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC, which take precedence over any other document.


2. Quotes and orders 

2.1 Catering Services

Quotes are provided for information only and do not engage the Service Provider until accepted by the client and validated by the caterer. An order is considered firm and final only after the quote has been signed and the required deposit has been paid.

2.2 Take-away meals/ meal boxes

Orders are placed exclusively via the website. They are considered confirmed only after full payment has been received.

2.3 Cooking Workshops & Hosted Dinners

Registrations can be made via the website or by email. The reservation becomes firm upon receipt of full payment or the deposit indicated at confirmation. Workshops require a minimum of 4 participants to be maintained.


3. Payment terms

  • Catering: 50% deposit upon ordering, balance within 10 days after the event.
  • Take-away / Meal Boxes: full payment at the time of order.
  • Workshops & Hosted Dinners: full payment upon registration, unless otherwise specified.

Late payments may incur penalties in accordance with applicable legal provisions.


4. Delivery (Take-away / Meal Boxes) 

  • Zone : Etterbeek, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Schaerbeek, Ixelles, Saint-Gilles. 
  • Minimum order : 35 € 
  • Delivery fee: €5 — free for orders of €65 or more​

The client must be present during the agreed time slot. In case of absence, the order may be left according to the instructions provided. Without clear instructions, delivery is considered completed and no refund will be possible.​

The Service Provider cannot be held responsible for failed delivery due to an incorrect address, difficult access, or unreported absence.


5. Changes and cancellations

Toute annulation ou modification devra être notifiée par écrit (message/Whatsapp ou e-mail).

5.1 Catering Services

  • Cancellation up to 10 days before the event: full deposit refunded.
  • Cancellation between 9 and 3 days: 30% of the total amount billed.
  • Cancellation less than 72 hours before: full amount due.

For modifications (number of guests, schedule, location, etc.), the caterer reserves the right to adjust the initially quoted rates.

5.2 Take-away / Meal Boxes

In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods.

However, as a commercial gesture, the client may cancel the order free of charge until noon of the Wednesday before the scheduled delivery/pick-up date. After this deadline, no refund will be granted.

5.3 Workshops & Hosted Dinners

Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your workshop or dinner.

    • If you cancel more than 5 days in advance, the full amount will be refunded.
    • If you cancel between 5 and 2 days before the event, 50% of the total amount will be retained.
    • If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance or fail to attend on the day, no refund will be possible.

The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, all payments made will be fully refunded.


6. Liability

The Service Provider’s liability, for any claim related to the execution of the service (meals, service, delivery, etc.), is strictly limited to the total amount actually paid by the client for that service. The Service Provider shall not be liable for indirect damages such as loss of revenue, business prejudice, loss of clientele, or any other damage not directly related to the service.


7. Force majeure

The Service Provider cannot be held responsible for non-performance or poor performance due to a case of force majeure as defined by law: natural disasters, strikes, breakdowns, fires, extreme weather, epidemics, network or service outages, or any unforeseeable event beyond its control. In such cases, the Service Provider will propose, as far as possible, a rescheduling of the service, without entitlement to compensation.


8. Equipment Rental (Catering)

The client is responsible for the equipment provided. Any missing, broken, or damaged items will be invoiced at replacement value. Equipment must be returned clean, unless otherwise agreed.


9. Allergies and Special Diets

Clients must notify the Service Provider of any allergies or special diets at least 7 days before the event.

The Service Provider cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions if the information is not communicated within this timeframe.


10. Claims

All claims must be made in writing within 48 hours of the service or delivery. After this period, no request will be considered.


11. Applicable Law and Disputes

These GTC are governed by Belgian law.

In the event of a dispute, the parties will attempt to reach an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of the Service Provider’s registered office shall have sole jurisdiction.
